Pro Career:

Selected by the Cardinals in the fourth round (131st overall) of the 2009 NFL Draft and appeared in 27 games (13 starts) during the regular season as well as two postseason contests in his first two seasons. Placed on injured reserve (knee) on 8/29/11 and missed the entire 2011 season.

2011: Suffered a knee injury during the preseason matchup vs. San Diego (8/27) and missed the entire season after being placed on injured reserve on 8/29.

2010: Started a career-best 13 of 14 games played, missing two games with a foot injury … made first career start and registered a team-high 11 unassisted tackles and one forced fumble in the season opener @ StL (9/12) … recorded a team-high two special teams tackles to go with six solo tackles and first career fumble recovery @ Atl (9/19) … registered three tackles, two passes defensed and tied for the team lead with two special teams tackles vs. Oak (9/26); deflected a pass on 3rd-n-goal to force a FG midway through the fourth quarter … registered first career sack as well as seven tackles, a team-high two passes defensed and one forced fumble @ SD (10/3); fumble was returned 42 yards for a TD by FS Kerry Rhodes to tie the game at seven in the second quarter … with Arizona up 23-13 in the fourth quarter vs. NO (10/10), intercepted a Drew Brees pass at the AZ 39-yard line; marked first fourth quarter INT by Brees in 26 games (11/30/08 at TB) … inactive (foot) @ KC (11/21) and vs. SF (11/29) … after being limited all week in practice (foot), returned to the lineup and registered two tackles vs. StL (12/5) … returned to the starting lineup for the first time since suffering a foot injury in mid-November and recorded three tackles vs. Den (12/12); part of a secondary that held the Broncos fourth ranked pass offense to 166 yards—105 yards below their average entering the game … recorded six tackles and first career TD on 66-yard INT return vs. Dal (12/25); 66-yard INT return for a TD was AZ’s longest INT return for a TD since Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie’s 99-yarder on 12/7/08 vs. St. Louis.

Started 40 collegiate games and established school records with 16 INTs and 38 pass breakups at Saint Paul’s … a three-time first-team All-CIAA selection, also earned first-team Little All-America honors as a senior in 2008 after establishing career highs with 51 tackles, six INTs and 13 passes defensed … as a senior, was also named the Virginia small school Defensive Player of the year … earned notice with his standout showings in the East Coast Bowl (two INTs, seven tackles and a pass defensed) and Cactus Bowl (INT returned 51 yards for a TD and eight tackles) all-star games … received All-CIAA and Little All-American first-team honors as a senior after collecting a career-high 51 tackles (37 solos), including 4.5 stops behind the line of scrimmage … tied for ninth in the nation and second in the league with seven INTs and set the school record with three blocked kicks, returning one blocked punt for a TD … had a banner year as a junior, receiving All-CIAA first-team honors.

Personal:
Attended Northwestern (Washington, DC) High School where he was a two-time All-Metro choice as a CB, WR and return specialist ... ruled academically ineligible for post-season competition after his senior season.
