College Career:

Brother of Cardinals QB John Skelton, the two played together at Fordham … a three-year starter, hauled in 127 receptions for 1,313 yards (10.3 yard avg.) and 10 TDs in 40 games played … as a senior in ’10, totaled 42 receptions for 443 yards and three TDs … had his best collegiate season and one of the best seasons in school history for a tight end as a junior in ’09, when he was catching passes from his brother, John, totaling 63 receptions for 634 yards (10.1 yard avg.) and six TDs … the 63 receptions were the most all-time in school history for a tight end and the fifth-best single-season total in school history … appeared in all 11 games and started 10 during his sophomore season in ’08, catching 22 passes for 236 yards and a TD … as a freshman in ’07, appeared in seven games, both on special teams and at tight end, totaling one special teams tackle.

 

Personal:

Attended Burges (El Paso, TX) High School where he lettered in football, baseball, basketball and track … earned first-team all-district honors on both offense and defense as senior, when he caught 37 passes for 468 yards and seven TDs … also had 18 tackles and three INTs on defense … at Burges, played alongside his brother, John, while his father, also named John, served as an assistant coach … majored in Business Administration at Fordham.
