Pro Career: Originally drafted by the New York Giants in the sixth round (184th overall) in 2010. Released by the Giants on 9/3/11. Added to the Giants practice squad on 9/4/11. Signed a futures contract with the Giants on 2/8/12. Re-signed with the Giants on 4/15/13 as an exclusive rights free agent. Released by the Giants on 8/31/13. Signed by the Cardinals to a futures contract on 1/9/14.

2012: Saw his first action after spending one season on injured reserve and another on the practice squad … played in all 16 games at defensive end and on special teams … posted nine tackles, including one sack on defense, and had eight special teams tackles … made his NFL debut vs. Dal (9/5) … recorded his first special teams tackle vs. TB (9/16) … posted two special teams tackles vs. Cle (10/7) … tallied four solo tackles and his first career sack for a six-yard loss @ SF (10/14) … had one solo tackle vs. GB (11/25).

2010: Placed on injured reserve after suffering a dislocated elbow and rupturing his biceps tendon in a preseason game @ Bal (8/28).

College: Started all 47 games at William & Mary, recording 283 tackles (151 solo) with 31.0 sacks for 183 yards, forced four fumbles, one fumble recovery and blocked a kick … his 31.0 sacks broke the previous school record of 24.0 set in 1997 … named All-American in 2009 by six organizations including the AP and College Sporting News … started all 14 games at left end and tied the school single-season record with 12.0 sacks … added five quarterback pressures, a forced fumble and a recovered fumble … started all 11 games and finished with 72 tackles, 15.5 tackles for loss, 10.0 sacks and one blocked kick during the 2008 season as a junior … led the conference and ranked sixth nationally with 0.91 sacks per game … posted a season-high 13 tackles, three tackles for loss and two sacks in the win at New Hampshire … started all 11 games, totaling 63 tackles, ranking fifth on the team, and leading the team with three sacks during his sophomore season in 2007 … led the team in tackles for loss with 9.5 … posted nine tackles against Villanova … finished his redshirt freshman year in 2006 with 70 total tackles and earned rookie of the week honors twice … ranked in the conference’s top-10 with 15.5 tackles for loss (seventh) and six sacks (sixth) … earned his first rookie of the week award after posting nine total tackles (five solos) with 2.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks and a forced fumble in a win over VMI … was awarded his second rookie of the week honor after posting three sacks, four tackles for loss and a forced fumble in a win over Towson … redshirted in 2005.

Personal: Attended Potomac Falls (VA) High school where he earned three letters in football … started games at running back, tight end, linebacker and defensive end … named first-team All-District as a senior and was the team’s defensive MVP for three consecutive seasons … also played basketball and earned District Player of the Year honors for his play on the basketball court as a senior … majored in Kinesiology.
