Pro Career: Originally signed by the Dallas Cowboys as a rookie free agent on 4/30/12 before being released on 8/31/12. Signed to the San Francisco 49ers practice squad on 11/20/12 and was released on 11/27/12. Re-signed to the 49ers practice squad on 11/30/12 and was released on 12/4/12. Added to the Philadelphia Eagles practice squad on 12/5/12. Signed a futures contract with the Eagles on 12/31/12. Released by the Eagles on 8/29/13. Added to the New Orleans Saints practice squad on 1/1/14. Signed a two-year contract with the Cardinals on 4/1/14.

College: Appeared in 54 games with 28 starts during his four-year career at Virginia Tech … posted 189 tackles, four INTs, three forced fumbles and 16 passes defensed … earned second-team All-ACC honors at safety during his senior season … played over 800 snaps on defense and 96 on special teams … posted 83 tackles, two INTs and a forced fumble in 14 games as a senior … earned the President’s Award as the top defensive leader following his junior season … finished season with 80 tackles, two INTs, two forced fumbles and broke up six passes in 13 starts … made his first collegiate start against Nebraska and played every defensive down … saw action at cornerback and safety his sophomore and freshman seasons, but primarily played on special teams.
