Biography

Pro Career: Joined the Cardinals as an undrafted rookie free agent on 4/29/13 from Clemson and has played in all 48 regular season games and three postseason contests in his first three NFL seasons. Signed a one-year contract as a restricted free agent on 4/18/16.

2015: Played in every game for the third straight season, recording 11 receptions for 144 yards and a TD for the NFL’s #1 ranked offense … also had five special teams tackles … caught two passes for 20 yards, including a six-yard TD in the first quarter @ Chi (9/20) … notched a 20-yard reception in fourth quarter vs. StL (10/4) … recorded a career-long 39-yard reception in the third quarter that helped set up the go-ahead TD @ Cle (11/1) … posted season-high three receptions for 38 yards @ Sea (11/15); all three catches came in the fourth quarter after Michael Floyd left the game injured; had an eight-yard reception on 3rd-n-3 on the team’s final TD drive that helped seal the win; also had one special teams tackle … recorded a 15-yard reception on game-opening TD drive and had two special teams tackles @ Phi (12/20) … had one special teams tackle in Divisional Playoff vs. GB (1/16/16) … started as part of four-WR set and had a 16-yard reception in third quarter of NFC Championship Game @ Car (1/24/16).

2013: After making the team as a rookie free agent out of training camp, played in all 16 games and recorded 11 receptions for 140 yards and a TD while adding five special teams tackles … made his NFL debut and collected his first career reception for 14 yards on the final play of the game @ StL (9/8) … had an 11-yard reception in the second quarter vs. Det (9/15) … recorded a 19-yard catch on the first play of the game-winning FG drive @ TB (9/29); reception came at the TB 19 and a Buccaneers penalty on the play moved the ball inside the 10 to set up Jay Feely’s game-winning 27-yard FG … had one reception for five yards @ SF (10/13) … caught his first career TD on an eight-yard pass from Carson Palmer in the fourth quarter vs. Sea (10/17); had three catches for 30 yards, marking his first career multi-reception game … had a seven-yard reception on 3rd-n-6 in the second quarter to keep drive alive and Cardinals scored TD two plays later vs. Hou (11/10); also had one special teams tackle … recorded one special teams tackle @ Jax (11/17) … had a 16-yard reception on third-quarter TD drive vs. Ind (11/24); also had one special teams tackle … converted a first down with a six-yard reception on 3rd-n-5 in the first quarter @ Phi (12/1) … recorded a career-long 32-yard reception in the fourth quarter on 3rd-n-7 vs. StL (12/8); also collected a team-high two special teams tackles … played on offense and special teams in the last three games.

College: Finished his Clemson career with 87 receptions for 1,186 yards and eight TDs in 50 games (32 starts) … also totaled 341 yards on 17 kick returns, 65 yards on seven punt returns and ran nine times for 66 yards … two-time academic All-ACC selection and four-time ACC academic honor roll member … was a team captain as a senior and had 21 catches for 345 yards while playing in all 13 games with 10 starts … recorded a career-high four TD catches while totaling 31 receptions for 406 yards in 14 games as a junior … also returned 15 kickoffs for 308 yards … won the Solid Rock Award among wide receivers as a sophomore … notched a career-best 32 catches for 405 yards and three TDs and ran for 63 yards on eight carries in 12 games … finished second on the team in receiving yards and fourth in receptions … played in 11 games and had three catches for 30 yards and a TD in ’09 … winner of the Vickery Hall Award for his work in the classroom … redshirted in 2008.

Personal: First name pronounced ‘juh-RON’ … helped lead Cheraw (SC) High School to state titles as a junior and senior … collected 31 receptions for 516 yards and 16 TDs as a senior as he earned All-State, all-area and all-region honors … also played safety, totaling 100 tackles and four INTs … named Palmetto All-Star Back of the Year and AA Player of the Year by the High School Sports Report … also played basketball and ran track … named the basketball team’s top defensive player as a senior and was all-region in track, running the 100-meters, 200-meters and 4x100 relay … graduated in December of 2011 with a degree in Management.
