Originally signed with the 49ers as a rookie free agent on 7/27/11. Released on 9/3/11. Signed with 49ers on 8/11/12 and was released on 8/31/12. Signed with the Cardinals on 7/25/13.

College Career:

Played in 52 games in four years at Oregon … totaled 109 tackles, 37.5 tackles for loss, 23.5 sacks, 10 forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and nine passes defensed … left Oregon tied for fifth in school history with 23.5 sacks … earned All-Pac-10 honors as a senior when he posted career highs with 48 tackles and 16.5 tackles for loss … led the conference and tied for second in the NCAA with five forced fumbles and had a team-high seven sacks … had a career-high nine tackles, including four for loss, in his final college game, the BCS National Championship Game against Auburn at University of Phoenix Stadium … honorable mention All-Pac-10 as a junior in ’09 … led the conference with 11.5 sacks and had a team-best 15 tackles for loss … had a career-high and equaled a game record with three sacks against Ohio State in the Rose Bowl; earned the game’s defensive MVP award … had 10 tackles as a sophomore … played in 13 games as a pass-rush specialist during his true freshman season and recorded sacks on five of his eight tackles.

Personal:

Was a SuperPrep All-American at Poly (Long Beach, CA) High School ... voted to the Long Beach Telegram’s Best in the West first team … ranked one of the top 20 prospects in California and among the 25 best defensive linemen in the country by SuperPrep … totaled 31 sacks in his career, including 17 as a senior … also had 99 tackles and two blocked punts in his final season.
