Biography

Pro Career: Selected by the Denver Broncos in the fourth round (108th overall) of the 2012 NFL Draft. Released by the Broncos on 8/31/13. Added to the Cardinals practice squad on 9/2/13 and was placed on the practice squad injured reserve list (leg) on 11/7/13. Signed a futures contract with the Cardinals on 1/1/14.

2012: Did not see game action … inactive for the first two regular season games … placed on injured reserve (thumb) on 9/18.

College: Started all 38 games during his three-year career at Baylor … earned first-team All-Big 12 Conference and first-team All-America recognition from the NFL Draft Report following his senior season in 2011 … started at center in all 13 games ... anchored the offensive line that ranked second nationally in total offense (587.1), fourth in passing offense (351.5), fourth in scoring offense (45.3) and 10th in rushing offense (235.6) … started all 13 games at center during his junior season in 2010 … named honorable mention All-Big 12 by league coaches and AP … moved to center during 2010 spring drills … started at right tackle for all 12 games during his sophomore season in 2009 … one of 11 players to start all 12 games … played his freshman season at Tyler (TX) Junior College, earning second-team All-SWJCFC honors on the offensive line … played two seasons of prep football at Champlain Regional college in Lennoxville, Quebec.

Personal: Graduated from Father Henry Carr Catholic (Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada) Secondary School … selected by the Montreal Alouettes with the 23rd overall pick in the 2011 Canadian Football League Draft before opting to return to Baylor for his senior season … graduated with a major in Sociology.
