Pro Career: Originally signed with the Chicago Bears as a rookie free agent on 7/26/11 and was waived on 9/3/11. Re-signed to the Bears practice squad on 12/19/11. Signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on 4/19/12 and was waived on 8/31/12. Signed to the Washington Redskins practice squad on 9/3/12 and was released on 9/11/12. Signed to the Indianapolis Colts practice squad on 10/10/12 before being promoted to the 53-man roster on 10/29/12. Waived by the Colts on 4/30/13 and re-signed with Indianapolis on 8/6/13. Released on 8/31/13 and re-signed to the active roster on 9/30/13. Waived on 10/8/13 and added to the Colts practice squad on 10/10/13. Released from the practice squad on 10/22/13. Re-signed to the Indianapolis practice squad on 12/3/13. Released from the practice squad on 12/17/13. Added to the Cardinals practice squad on 12/23/13 and signed a future contract with the Cardinals on 1/1/14.

College: Logged 1,392 rushing yards on 321 carries with 15 TDs and 43 receptions for 370 yards over 47 games at Notre Dame … carried the ball 68 times for 300 yards and two TDs and posted seven catches for 67 yards during his senior season … rushed for 81 yards on a season-best 27 carries in his final college game, the Sun Bowl, against Miami … posted 416 yards and averaged 4.7 yards on 88 carries and had 193 receiving yards on 19 receptions in 11 games during his junior season … played in 12 of 13 games and started three contests as a sophomore … rushed 112 times for 382 yards and four TDs … had the first multi-TD game of his Notre Dame career when he ran for two scores against Michigan …  led the team in yards per carry (5.5) and had the second-most rushing TDs (four) and the third-highest rushing yards (294) in 11 games during his freshman season … became the first Notre Dame freshman running back to eclipse 100 rushing yards in consecutive weeks since 1982.

Personal: Attended Hubbard (Chicago, IL) High School where he was named first-team all-state by the Chicago Tribune after rushing for 1,780 yards and 22 TDs as a senior … selected for the 2007 U.S. Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio … ranked as the ninth-best running back in the nation and second-best recruit in Illinois by Scout.com … ran for 1,920 yards and 19 TDs his junior season helping his team reach the Class 6A state semifinals … rushed for 1,034 yards his sophomore season and 1,000 yards as a freshman … majored in Sociology.
